Whynought has designed the interiors of a duplex luxury residence apartment in New York City’s West Village, encompassing both character and style.
Whynought has created a space that is full of charm and personality; using careful layering of objects, furniture, lighting and art to capture the imagination of any visitor the sense of a real authentic, warm art collector’s house. Inspiration for the designs has been taken from the surrounding location and reflects the spirit of modern luxury art scene in West Village.
Art is a strong theme of the house. Modern art works from both emerging and established artists are used
throughout the space in seamless interaction with custom furniture,
lighting, and fixtures. Each room is filled with
texture and earthy tones, creating a calm and peaceful retreat in
a bustling New York City.
