Café Patoro is reminiscent of a grandmother’s kitchen in
Brazilian countryside on a summer’s day: warm, inviting, and full of laughter and joy. A modern interior and elegance accentuated by a custom - designed wooden farmer’s table filled with warm Brazilian pastries help introduce the familiarity and warmth of Brazilian hospitality to a modern New York City. A custom - designed farm table made by a local craftsman using a reclaimed barn wood is centrally placed to be approachable and functional as a central display table with an integrated temperature control display system. A local craftsman handcrafted the farm table designed by Whynought using traditional carpentry methods.
Glazed screen door with fun, artful patterns and window texture is thoughtfully utilized
to show glimpses of magic behind the freshly baked pastries, allowing customers to view and experience
a vibrant kitchen from a controlled view point.
